Amante de los deportes y la vida al aire libre, siendo pionero en el mundo del mountainbike iniciando sus primeras carreras en 1988 logrando el campeonato nacional en 1990 en la categoría sub 21 compartiendo podium con Cristobal Vidaurre. Ese mismo año decide ir y participar en el circuito americano Norba participando en diferentes competencias de cross country Mtb. Después de dos años en California decide regresar a su país para unirse al negocio familiar Echard Bike Center, primer centro integral de la bicicleta en la comuna de Vitacura.
Compartiendo la pasión del Mtb decide formar diferentes equipos competitivos a nivel nacional, recorriendo gran parte del país con los mejores corredores. En una de estas giras 1996 es cuando sufre un grave accidente y se fractura dos vértebras, lo que lo deja en muy mala condición física y debe retirarse de la bicicleta por bastantes años. Después de hacer muchos tratamientos logra volver andar en bici ya de manera recreativa y compartiendo sus experiencias con los más jóvenes decide formar una empresa de Biketur turismo en bicicleta de montaña enduro, seleccionando los mejores circuitos de Santiago y sus alrededores, entregando un servicio de gran calidad y pasión por este bello deporte hasta el día de hoy.

Lover of sports and outdoor life, being a pioneer in the world of mountain biking, starting his first races in 1988, achieving the national championship in 1990 in the sub 21 category, sharing the podium with Cristobal Vidaurre. That same year he decided to go and participate in the American circuit Norba participating in different Mtb cross country competitions. After two years in California, he decided to return to his country to join the Echard Bike Center family business, the first comprehensive bicycle center in the Vitacura district.
Sharing the passion of Mtb, he decides to form different competitive teams at the national level, touring much of the country with the best riders. In one of these tours, 1996 is when he suffers a serious accident and fractures two vertebrae, which leaves him in very poor physical condition and he has to retire from the bicycle for many years. After doing many treatments, he manages to ride his bike again in a recreational way and sharing his experiences with the youngest, he decides to form a Biketur enduro mountain bike tourism company, selecting the best circuits in Santiago and its surroundings, providing a great service quality and passion for this beautiful sport to this day.
