ROUTE 1

Providencia — Parque Bicentenario — Cerro San Cristóbal

  • LEVEL: Beginner to Intermediate

  • TYPE: Urban / Paved

  • ESTIMATED DURATION: 3 to 5 hours depending on your pace

  • SEASON: All year round

Start from Providencia and hop on the Andres Bello bike lane heading east. Follow the cycling path all the way to Parque Bicentenario, riding through one of Santiago’s most beautiful urban parks. Continue uphill until you reach Av Americo Vespucio, then cross the river via the pedestrian bridge over the highway — this brings you to the entrance of Cerro San Cristobal, Santiago’s iconic Metropolitan Park. From here you can ride the asphalt roads all the way to the summit and enjoy a breathtaking panoramic view of the entire city and the Andes Mountains. Descend via the Pedro de Valdivia sector in Providencia. If you still have energy, jump back on the Andres Bello bike lane and explore Bellavista and the city center. Return route depends on your hotel location — we will guide you!

Para salir desde Vitacura:

Same route but entering Parque Bicentenario from the eastern sector. We will give you the specific starting point based on your hotel location.

CAUTION: Many cyclists and pedestrians on the route — ride with caution at all times, especially during the hill descent.

ROUTE 2 — Intermediate to Advanced Level

Mountain Route — Vitacura to Farellones Ski Resorts

Levels within this route:

  • Option A: Corral Quemado — Intermediate (midpoint with a great viewpoint)
  • Option B: Farellones Village — Advanced (full route)
  • Option C: Valle Nevado — Only for the most experienced

Each rider goes as far as they can according to their level and available time.
